One For Sorrow Collection - Lace Jammers
Blending my love for all things Punk and Hip Hop... who wants lace charms when you can have full-on Jammers?!! 
Creating a copper prototypes to help gauge the scale and length of the required metal before I create them in Silver.
Getting a feel for how it will sit on the shoe, taking into account movement of the foot and the crease above the toes.
Good overall shape, but too long and will bend nearer the toes. Simplifying the design and aligning with the 3 stripes would look better!
Recreated in sterling silver and hand punched the letting to add in a bit of Punk aesthetic!
Soldered 'lace' jumps to the back to thread the laces on, then brushed with Liver Of Sulphur to blacken the piece all over, this helps give the piece more depth in the folds and highlights the lettering.
High polish with rouge and then brush-satin finish to the insides of the ribbon to give contrast.
Fitted to the shoe and they look amazing!
